Today sucked. It shouldn't have, but it did.
I decided today to give my webserver an upgrade. Like any other time I do these, I make a backup because my server's been burned on upgrades before. Lo and behold, the upgrade ends up backfiring to the point where the server is rendered unbootable. Fine, I have a back-up. Restore the backup, no problem, and bam, a worse version of "Not bootable." Fortunately, the data itself was intact but I did not want to spend the whole day figuring out if the drive in its current state could be repaired. Ultimately, I did get that upgrade in...through a clean install. I still have the data and configuration se
